Prefer a car? A taxi or Didi covers the 4.5 km in about fifteen minutes for a modest fare.
From Shanghai Disneyland
The resort is about 15 km east — twenty minutes by the free daily shuttle that departs from the lobby. Departure times are posted at the front desk; families usually ride out in the morning, return for the bath and the bunk bed, and repeat.
From Hongqiao, the railway stations and downtown
From Hongqiao Airport (about 47 km), take Metro Line 2, a taxi of roughly 50–60 minutes, or the maglev from Longyang Road. Shanghai Railway Station sits about 42 km away; Didi fares are inexpensive and the driver apps accept international cards. From the city centre, the fastest route is Metro Line 2 toward Pudong, then a short taxi from Yuandong Avenue station — the nearest metro stop, 4.4 km from the lobby.
